Abrams Properties, Inc. is a subsidiary of Servidyne, Inc., a publicly traded company (NASDAQ:SERV), which has been active in various businesses related to real estate since 1925. The company's real estate portfolio has included an interest in up to 2.3 million square feet of retail and office properties. During the 1970's Abrams Properties invested primarily in Kmarts, and at one time had an interest in over 20 Kmarts in the Midwest and Southeast. In the 1980's the company began diversifying its portfolio and developed and acquired retail power centers, grocery anchored centers and office properties and has now disposed of all but one of its Kmarts. Abrams Properties has most recently concentrated its office and retail properties in the Southeast.
